Accountant

We are a highly successful and well-recognised business that is a market leader in its field, are currently recruiting for an ACCA/ACA part-qualified Accountant to take on a variety of ad hoc tasks and provide additional support to the Financial Accountant.

Role

  • Assist the Financial Accountant with the general ledger according to deadlines
  • Assist with the completion of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations VAT returns
  • Assist with other direct and indirect tax matters
  • Weekly multi-site reconciliations
  • Assist the Financial Accountant with any ad hoc tasks

Essential

  • The successful candidate will ideally be ACCA/ACA part-qualified having completed the strategic level and progressing to professional level of their studies. They will have at least 1 year experience gained within a similar role and preferably within a globally recognised company. As well as having experience carrying out the above responsibilities, they will also have great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. They will be able to follow instructions when necessary and also be pro-active enough to use their initiative and happily take on extra tasks.

Graphic Designer

As a Designer with Emmerdale you will need to be proactive and enthusiastic, have experience within a studio environment and excellent design and communication skills.

Role

  • Creating and delivering designs for carpets and furnishings
  • Provide an endless source of ideas when interpreting client briefs and presenting concepts internally and externally
  • Have the ability to work at pace with enthusiasm and passion
  • Create and implement marketing strategy across all digital and traditional media platforms
  • Liaise with others in the company in coming up with excellent layouts
  • Be commercially minded to offer innovative sales and promotional campaigns
  • To understand and work within brand and corporate guidelines where relevant
  • To use your experience and knowledge to identify and resolve design, artwork and print challenges
  • To take responsibility for continuous personal development and learning, helping to identify objectives and opportunities for skills development

Essential

  • A degree or experience in a relevant subject area
  • Excellent Adobe CS skills, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • A portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design work
  • Accuracy in work with excellent attention to detail
  • Mac and PC literate
  • Willingness to work beyond set hours to ensure completion of projects
  • Has the capacity to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Can perform under pressure and operate in a fast paced environment

  • Experience in working with design for clothing
  • A keen interest and passion for interior furnishings

Sales and Marketing Officer

Role

  • Deliver on sales targets as per agreed KPI’s by pro-actively closing sales from field customers.
  • Own the process of generating quotations for counter and managing telephone customer enquiries.
  • New business development from field customers and client telephone enquiries.
  • Offering product knowledge and direct sales services to field customers and Tele-sales to customer enquiries.
  • High level of customer service and negotiation skills for customer telephone queries.
  • Timely processing of customer orders and pro-active follow up on customer enquiries.
    Pro-active confirmation on stock availability, and follow up on stock shortages

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Business Management or equivalent qualifications from a reputable learning institution.
  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience in retail sales of home products or related industry products.
  • Good relationship building, communication and networking skills
  • Good Influencing, negotiation, analytical and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Possess up-to-date product knowledge of home furnishing trends and information
